As a Senior Accountant General Ledger, you perform the various accounting activities for a production entity and a sales entity for which you will hold the end responsibility.
You execute tasks regarding the following financial processes: General Accounting, Stock Management, R&D and intercompany reconciliation.
You assemble & analyze data and take the necessary actions based on the analysis results. You provide data to management and business partners, based on reporting needs. When executing tasks, you follow up on and apply (changes in) legislation and financial standards & principals.
You collect and prepare the necessary information regarding the financial audits and you are the first point of contact for questions of auditors within your domains.
You provide input into the development of procedures, practices, systems and work instructions. You play an active role in the month-end/year-end closing process.
Who are we looking for?
- You have experience of working in an organization with an international character. Therefore, you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Dutch & English. A solid base of French is an asset.
- You have experience of working in a production environment within SAP.
- You have knowledge of different GAAPS (BEGAAP, FRGAAP, IFRS).
- You have experience with software packages such as MS office. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
- You hold a master degree in accounting or finance or you are equal by relevant experience.
- You have strong organizational skills and are able to process a lot of information & set priorities to meet deadlines.
- A hands-on mentality & working accurately with an eye for detail describes your working attitude.
- You have an aptitude for numbers and have strong quantitative skills.
