What you’ll do

As an Enterprise IT architect you will be responsible for defining and advocating enterprise IT architecture policy and the development of change proposals for the DTS technology roadmap, aligned with IT stakeholders and with Eneco's corporate strategy.

From the Data & Technology Services (DTS) department, you will be working with DTS leadership and stakeholders from Business, Digital and IT to understand their goals and objectives.

You will translate these into IT architecture policy (trends, strategies, principles, standards and reference architectures) and you will develop future state and change proposals, focusing on the areas of enterprise IT landscape integration and rationalization, for the DTS technology roadmap.

Together with your colleague Enterprise architects (2 focusing on business, 1 on architecture governance and way of working) you serve as a technical leader, providing guidance to Domain and Platform architects from different areas within the Architecture Vertical.


Is this about you?
  • 5+ years' experience in an Enterprise architect role
  • Strategic awareness, able to navigate in large organizations with multiple Business units and stakeholders.
  • Mindset of innovation and continuous improvement, able to combine contextual, logical and physical levels of thinking.
  • Strategic and practical experience with Enterprise IT landscape integration, -rationalization, IT4IT and IT onboarding of acquired companies.
  • Excellent communication skills (in English and preferably Dutch), experience with conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Passion for coaching, teaching and mentoring.
  • Result orientated attitude and solid commercial and financial awareness.
You’ll be responsible for
  • Development of trusted relationships with IT leadership and strategic IT partners & suppliers.
  • Leading the definition, the approval and advocating of IT Architecture Policy (strategy, principles, standards, trends, reference architectures, etc.), aligned with IT stakeholders and the corporate strategy.
  • Leading of definition of Future state architectures and new change proposals for the DTS technology roadmap in areas of IT landscape integration and -rationalization, IT onboarding of acquired companies, IT4IT and regulatory IT transformation.
  • Leading the validation of IT solution architectures to the IT architecture policy.
  • Guidance, steering and coaching of Domain & Platform Architects in the Architecture Vertical.

You will be working from the Technology Strategy team within Eneco's Data & Technology Services (DTS) department, advising DTS leadership and working on topics including Architecture, Portfolio management and IT Governance.
